What’s the difference between the cork & wooden rollers?
So when it comes from how they are made aspect. The wooden rollers are 100% made in Australia by us but the cork is sourced overseas as we not have the facilities here & couldn’t find a aus manufacturer.
When it come to balancing/rolling. The wooden ones are .5cm smaller. The wooden ones roll at lot more quicker & are a little harder to learn. They are of course much heavier. They are 100% aus made by us. They can also be more likely to damage timber floors & the board itself.
The cork is a little easier to learn as it doesn't move so quickly. They are nice & light & can be reused for recovery if you play sports or exercise.
It’s honestly down to personal preference. We personally recommend the cork for everyone.
Are your balance boards Australian made?
Yes our boards & wooden rollers are 100% AUS made, Sunshine Coast & are made by the owners of Barefoot & Salty. The cork rollers are imported but that’s only due to us being a small business, & no one in Aus makes them. We are also the original & first brand to design roller balance boards that are safer for young children/beginners.
Where are your balance boards made?
They are made in Australia right on the Sunshine Coast by the owners of Barefoot & Salty - Ben & Kiesh
Can adults use the balance boards?
YES!!! They are for all ages from 1 years and are rated up to 100kg.
Is there a weight limit?
We have a tested weight limit of 150kg. Anything higher we cannot guarantee the board will maintain it’s integrity.
Why don't your boards have stoppers?
There’s two reasons
It’s because the stoppers are designed for beginners & once you get good on a balance board it is a very annoying feature to have. As it hinders your ability to do skateboard tricks & other tricks like 10 toes correctly.
Secondly the stoppers do not work with our 5cm roller (it turns the board more into a wobble board because there is less of a angle made to be able to slide back and forth) but if you put a beginner on a 10cm roller with stoppers chances are they will struggle to gain confidence nowhere as quick as we have seen with our beginner set.
I hope that makes sense. We are planning to make remove able stoppers very soon.

For our international orders. If you find our balance board shipping is a little too high head to our Etsy store https://barefootandsalty.etsy.com they tend to give us better discounts for shipping and we pass that on to you. We are currently charging $30 AUD for shipping.

Under each item we provide to measurements of the item so you can compare to your clothes. We also mention in each description whether its true to size or if you should downsize/up size.
What sizes do you stock?
It depends on the individual garmet so we recommend you shop by size. We range from 0-3 months all the way to a adult 3XL.

How long does it take to process my order?
Between 5-7 business days for our clothing and 7-14 business days for our balance boards. Please note this does not include shipping times.

We use Australia post for all shipping. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
