Barefoot & Salty started as a small idea on the Sunshine Coast. Make high quality balance boards that feel like an extension of surf culture and bring people together. We thought we would sell a few locally, maybe get a couple of our mates’ kids into it, and that would be the end of it. Fast forward and our little nation of balance boarders has gone global.

Our boards are now being used everywhere from Bondi to Bali, from New Zealand to Norway. We have shipped to surf towns, snowy mountain resorts, city apartments, and remote communities. Anywhere people want to move, train, and have fun.

It blows our minds to see photos and videos of our boards being used on beaches in Hawaii, in gyms in Canada, in living rooms in the UK, and even in ski lodges in Japan. Our little slice of Aussie surf culture is being shared with people who have never even seen a surfboard in real life. And they love it.
