About SalTy Souls Legacy

Founded in 2018 in memory of Tyler Kennedy, SalTy Souls Legacy was created to help underprivileged kids and teens experience the healing power of the ocean. Their mission is to provide vulnerable youth with opportunities to engage in surf therapy, building confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.

The "Stand Tall" Program

One of their flagship initiatives is the fully funded six-week Stand Tall Surf Therapy Program. Working in partnership with schools, educators, and youth service organisations, the program supports young people through physical activity, emotional development, and positive mentorship.

At the end of the program, participants receive their own surfboard and surf starter pack—so they can continue their journey long after the program finishes.
